About Your Instructor, Steffanie Rupp, M.Ed., BCBA

Welcome! I'm passionate about supporting new special educators because I remember exactly how you feel. When I started my career in special education, I felt overwhelmed, underprepared, and honestly, a bit lost. I made mistakes, learned hard lessons, and gradually figured out what actually works in the classroom. Over the years, I've worked with hundreds of students with diverse learning needs and supported countless new teachers through their first year. I've seen what separates teachers who thrive from those who struggle, and it's not magic. It's practical systems, clear strategies, and the confidence that comes from knowing you have a solid plan. That's why I created this workshop. I want to give you what I wish I'd had on day one: real, actionable strategies from someone who's been in your shoes. My goal is to help you skip the painful learning curve and build a classroom where you and your students can actually succeed. I'm excited to share what I've learned with you.
